April 6, 2023 – 6 pm at the Chateau Grande Hotel in East Brunswick

Brian’s many accomplishments include the following: ABA All-Star, co-Captain of the Championship NY Nets with Dr. J; San Diego Clippers, Denver Nuggets, and Kansas City Kings; led the NBA in 3 pt shooting its first year the shot was allowed; 2nd Team all NBA Defense.  College All-American at Princeton University; Principal of View Park Prep Middle School on Crenshaw Boulevard in South Central Los Angeles where his students closed the achievement gap in English and Math; tied for the highest math scores in Los Angeles and had 100% of his 8th graders pass the state of California’s Algebra 1 standardized test.

On April 2nd 2013, College Achieve Public Schools was founded.  To mark our 10th Anniversary, we are having a fundraising event on April 6th at The Chateau Grande in East Brunswick.  All proceeds will go to support CAPS’ Summer Of A Lifetime (SOAL) programs where our students attend two-week summer programs at elite colleges and universities each summer at Oxford, University of Paris, Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, Colby, Georgetown, and our partner program at Princeton University SOAL U.
