Greater Asbury Park Campus

College Achieve Greater Asbury Park Charter School (CAPS Asbury) is setting a new standard for educational success, delivering significant gains on the New Jersey State Learning Assessments:

  • ELA Excellence: Surpassed state averages across all subgroups, with especially strong results among students with disabilities, economically disadvantaged students, and multilingual learners.
  • Math Gains: Key grades at CAPS Asbury achieved significant growth in math, with 8th graders surpassing the state average by an impressive 24 percentage points overall.

“These results demonstrate the power of small group instruction, data-driven strategies, and high-dosage tutoring in closing achievement gaps for historically underserved students,” said Jasonn Denard, Head of School.

With a student body where 89% qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch and 8% are classified as homeless, CAPS Asbury continues to prove that every scholar can thrive when given the right tools and support.

We’re so proud of our scholars for their hard work and commitment to academic excellence and achieving remarkable success on the NJSLA exams!

Their dedication, paired with the support of our exceptional educators, has resulted in outstanding growth and milestones that truly inspire.

Paterson Campus

We’re proud to share that College Achieve Paterson has achieved remarkable results on the New Jersey State Learning Assessments (NJSLA):

  • Math Gains: A 22-point improvement over two years.
  • Closing Learning Gaps: Underserved student groups, including economically disadvantaged, Black, Latino, and multilingual learners, outperformed state averages by up to 35 points.

These achievements highlight our unwavering commitment to educational equity, rigorous academics, and data-driven instruction.

“Our approach-rooted in evidence, strategy, and care — meets scholars where they are and lifts them to where they belong: on a path to greatness.” ― Dr. Gemar Mills, Chief Academic Officer.

Congratulations to the students, educators, and families who made this success possible! Together, we’re proving that every scholar can achieve greatness.
